“Creative expression through fashion and styling allows me to convey my aspirations and inner sense of luxury. I am luxury when I feel it and when I create that experience . It's not about the money—Lord knows I scrape for the coins—but it's about expressing myself in a way that reflects how I’ve always always felt about myself: luxurious in many ways. This luxury doesn’t have to be tethered to a monetary value, and I'm continuously excited to share that with people. I'm the first to tell you I got something for $5 as a means to examine self-worth outside these systems of oppression that have been built for us to feel worthless. If I have to be that person to show you that you, too, can experience a life of abundance at the low price of simply loving yourself, then so be it, because whether you have $1 or $1M, you can always feel luxurious.” William Carl Stallings III

“In preparing for this shoot, I was excited to blend my style with the vision presented, the bold and intimate energy of the shots was something I felt deeply connected to and I took more a deep dive into the story I realized that my fashion journey was intertwined with becoming more comfortable in my skin as a Black gay male at many intersections. My journey in fashion and styling has guided me in letting go and finding my own voice in many regards. Very much a coming-of-age story. Embracing my true self has allowed me to express my creativity freely and confidently. My approach to fashion and styling is not just about clothes; it's about self-expression, confidence, and embodying the luxury of self-worth, regardless of price. Through my work, I aim to inspire others to find and follow their unique voice, celebrating beauty in all its forms. I am grateful to MelissaBStudios for allowing me to realize and get closer to that once more.” William Carl Stallings III
