“Initially, our first phone call was the start of something special. Melissa shared with me her idea. We instantly began to feed off of each other's energy and things began to fall into place. Knowing she would be in South Florida, it only made sense to work at a studio that is Haitian owned. Things got even better when we landed a studio that is not only Haitian owned, but also woman owned. After sharing the studio with Melissa, she sent over the moodboard. It was the perfect visual aid which spewed from our first initial conversation. Diamonds, pearls, fashion, the arts are all the moodboard screamed. From there on, I knew it was GO time. It was a bit of a challenge, but the challenge was accepted. I began to take a look into different abstract makeup looks. Melissa even convinced me to be the model, so the pressure was on. Based on the colors that are in the Royal Highness Eyeshadow Palette, crafted by She Is Royalty Cosmetics, I brainstormed which colors will be compatible. From there, thinking about the type of rhinestones and placements came along. Finally, the extra fun part, the fashion. Having the right pieces is what tied it all together. After doing some searching, I shared the pieces that I found with Melissa and we agreed upon two.

Can you believe the first time we met in person was at the studio? It sure was. Everything was truly organic. Once she was behind the camera, I was in front of the camera, we both were in our elements and our gifts took the lead. The energy that was once transferred through a phone was now being transferred in person and through a lens. I’d like to say we took the time to not only be intentional with our gifts, we also took the time to uplift our culture gracefully.” Adassah Pierrelouis.

Adassah Pierrelouis, also known as She Is Royalty is a beauty educator, creative and an avid believer in growing and glowing royally. The origin of her name derives from a lineage of biblical royalty, which further stems as the foundation of her personal brand “She Is Royalty.” The phrase She Is Royalty is not only a representative of herself, but also an indication of how she wished for every individual to feel and emulate after encountering her light. Through years of playing with makeup, creating makeup tutorials, practicing makeup skills on friends, evolving into a professional makeup artist, teaching makeup classes and now creating an educationally crafted cosmetics line, Adassah has shined. She has always had an innate feeling towards knowing there is a greater impact to be made, “To whom much is given, much is required.”
